Upcoming Re-launch of 7P
Written by Al at 7P
Over the past week I have been working on a new design for the site, as well as honing in on what the blog is about. There’s so much of an update that I decided to have a relaunch of 7P.
I’m pretty jazzed up about the new version of this site! Here is a before/after shot of what I plan:

I figure I’d give a sneak preview before springing it on you, since you might think you went to a different website! There are a few things to note:
- Overall going for a more clean-cut style
- Leaving the three-column style for a simpler two-column style
- I will be trying to incorporate more pictures into my posts to emphasize the topic
- I’ll have a new tag line - Passion, Purpose, Planning, Pursuit, Progress, Power, and Peace (I think that’s seven)
I’m still making some tweaks, but I hope to launch this weekend. Bear with me if this site acts a little funny during this redesign!

As an update, I just did a software update which resulted in one of my plugins not working, so that caused the site to not work for a short time.
Hello Al:
From a (non-techie) readers’ perspective, it looks clean and attractive. Spelling out the 7 elements got my mind going. 7 is a powerful number :).
Thanks, also for the link.
Great redesign Al, nice and clean
Hi Galba - thanks for the feedback! Still working on refining this site a little more, so pardon any interruptions with the look-and-feel of this site.
Spike - thanks for the feedback. I was going for a cleaner look, so I’m glad to hear it.
You recently went through a redesign of your site as well, so you probably know what I’m going through. I never imagined I would spend over an hour deciding on medium grey or light grey for border colors!
Really looks clean, Al. I think you’ll enjoy creating the blogs as you’re inspired by your design. Nice choice.
Hi Robyn, thanks for the feecback. I think you’re on to something regarding a conducive environment and productivity. Hope my blogging quality is up to snuff.
Congratulations and thank you for becoming the official #1 commenter!
[…] As promised, I was going for a more cleaner look and feel to this site. The relaunch also included a refinement of what this site is about, which is reflected in my “About” page. […]
