Life Advice from Steve Jobs
Written by Al at 7P
This YouTube video is the 2005 Stanford graduation commencement speech given by Steve Jobs.
It was a great speech, with the theme being that every end is the start of a new beginning. Also as expected, he also had the theme about being passionate about what you do.
Update: A link to the text of Steve Jobs’ commencement speech is here.

I remember hearing his speech in person. He received a much warmer reception than Condi Rice, who spoke there two years earlier.
That’s pretty cool Chris. It must have been awesome to be part of the crowd during a speech by Jobs. He’s one of the best dynamic speakers I’ve seen.
Have you guys ever seen pirates of silicon valley. That guy was poppin acid all the time. I’m not sure how good his “life advice” is.
@Mackenzie, you seem to know what you are talking about. Do you mind shooting me your email address? I would like to chat more with you.
One important thing I like about website blogs is the fact that they provoke an idea in my mind. As soon as that happens, I feel as I have to comment wishing it can be useful to some people. Because there are many web logs with many different points of view, they challenge your understanding. It really is at these moments when you have valuable insignt other people may not have had, along with the blogger her/himself. I find myself coming back to your website mainly because you have many outstanding insights and you are already at this a while, that is very impressive and tells me you know your stuff. Keep triggering ideas in others!
Looks like the job market is finally turning around. At least the bleeding has stopped. I looked forward to reading more here. Thank you.
