Improvements to the Google Reader

A few weeks ago I looked at My Yahoo! and BlogLines for myself as tools for subscribing to and reading blogs, but the Google Reader is in my opinion the best one available. Well, Google just improved it! You can now do a search on the blogs you subscribe to, and you can hide the sidebar for wider viewing.

I was already impressed with the existing features, and this now takes it over the top. I just started using Google Reader about a couple of weeks ago, but there’s no way I will ever go back to my old way of reading blogs, which was with My Yahoo. I still use that for news, but it doesn’t compare with Google Reader for blogs.

This also touches upon yesterday’s post… as more people use blog readers, people will be concerned less with blogging frequency and more with quality. As Martha says, “that’s a good thing ®.”

I believe that by just being a part of “Priscilla’ Palmer’s Personal Development list obligates each of us to also post this list. You like me (Killeris at “Attitude, the Ultimate Power”) are on this list. If you have already posted it, THANK YOU. If you have not posted it, I am officially putting out a challenge that you add additional sites that fit the theme and post it. This list can be found at: http://mondaymorningpower.blogspot.com/2007/09/personal-development-list-challenge.html.

    Hi Mel,

Priscilla’s list is a fantastic one that seems to now be a living and dynamic list. Many of the great blogs I know are on that list, and in fact I discovered even more great blogs because of Priscilla. That’s why I added it permanently to my blogroll. I really don’t have any new ones to add.

I know I don’t have a lot of Google page rank value, but having a link to her on *all* my pages (instead of one post) is the max Google juice I can give to Priscilla as a “Thank You!”
